With my people now feeding themselves with advanced hunting techniques and fishing for Fumliks, I'd like to have my tribespeople begin searching the environment for a plant they could cultivate (preferably a grain). Ideally, this would be done with parties of both scouts and gatherers, so that even if the scouts are unable to find a suitable plant, gatherers will be able to collects plants for food along the way, and return to the tribe with at least some success. Just to clarify, you want the entirety of the band to split in these two groups or just two groups out of the band?

No no, just people who would already gather and people who would already scout to do this. Hunters would keep hunting, fishers would keep fishing, people staying back at the tribe would keep staying back.

Round 6
skyguy98 - Huzana Band Weaponry_Throwing spears: 2 The Huzana Band, in response to the incredible speed of their new prey, Zubrak, have begun to carve the bones and tusks into light sharp weaponry to throw. This new form of weaponry was inspired by the Zubraks power of knocking down bandsmembers with their incredible tusks. Despite their best attempts, few bandsmen could find stones strong enough to sharpen the tusks and bone effectively and few were able to do anything but spook the Zubraks. The prey killed only sustain a small few. Stability: Shaky (0) Power: Tiny (1) Past Policies:

someguywhoisamember - Haven BandFood Preservation: 2 As the Haven Band find that some days are not as plentiful as others along the lakes, they have had many trials in making their catches last. It was only by accident that the band found Cloukons pulpy juice could be used to preserve their food for a few more days than usual. This is due to the waxy film the Cloukon juice forms when left out. After this discovery the tribe happily coated most of the next few catches with the juice and left it out. Although this method helped with preservation and possibly helped the taste, it also attracted some scavengers who tooken a great percentage of the food caught. nickthenick - Samara Band Search the forest(gw_grain): 6 Due to the Samara Band's almost exclusive diet of meaty Fumliks, many band members have noticed their agility escaping them much easier than before. In a twist, this loss of agility has actually caused them barely able to catch their prey. In their despiration, a group of the most resilant men in the band climbed the bluff with unusual ease and split into two at the wake of the forest. One group marched ahead of the other to scout for sustainable plants as the other slowly picked various leaves and berries for themselves, the scout group, and the band incase of unfortunate results. Meanwhile, in the band, many look to the sky for answers of this sudden curse on their health. After much questioning of gods and internal thought, the band comes to the realization that possibly it is that they are stealing from the ocean. They were reassured of this by the oceans tantruming waves the same day of the realization. They began to now pleed for their scouts to return with something naturally dry as not to anger the ocean anymore. After a few days of this pleeding, the scout had returned with, as forgiveness from the ocean, a dry grainy plant known now as Kunsil. The band surrounded the brave scouts and gatherers and told them all of the oceans wrath on them. Although they gathered as much Kunsil as they could carry(enough for a turn or two), the place they found it most abundant is quite a distance.

With the stored supplies of grain, I'll now lead the band on a migration to these lands abundant in Kunsil. Along the way, the hunters and gatherers should sustain me with game and plants. The fishermen will avoid fishing on the coasts for now, but will still fish along any streams or rivers they come across. During the migration, if food ever runs low, the band will stop to stockpile it up again before continuing on.

your gonna have to be a bit more descriptive than that. Becoming a tribe is more of a result rather than an action by the band. food preservation was an action that allowed your band to have to stay in one place as their food preserved so that is in the right direction to become a tribe(which remember the definition in this game is a band with a/multiple stationary center(s))

Round 7skyguy98 - Huzana BandMaintain Tribe: Skip The Huzana Band have maintained the same struggles and benefits of yester-years without much change. Stability: Shaky (0) Power: Tiny (1) Past Policies: Migrate north Explore area for resources Continue north Improve weaponry Retreat south Weaponry_Throwing spears
someguywhoisamember - Haven BandEVENT: Winter Famine Improve fishing technique further: 5 After the splurge inspired by the new hand like fishing devices, the Haven band continued to better develop the device into their lifestyle. They now have developed a strong wicker to build boats into the lake. Unfortunately, due to the sinkability of wicker; only one light person may sit in a boat and a team must ride in the net to catch entangled fish. These develops, although grand, have protected the band very little from a series of record winters. Because of this, few bandmembers have been sustain the amount they are used to and have been forced to roughly attempt ice fishing. Although a stockpile has been kept into the winter, a few slivers of the Haven have left in multiple directions looking for better climates. Because of the stockpile however, the remaining members still remain as stable as usual. Stability: Shaky (0) Power: Tiny (1) Past Policies: Migrate north Develop Gathering technique Explore enviroment for resources Explore enviroment deeper for resources Improve fishing technique Food Preservation
nickthenick - Samara BandMove south toward Kunsil abundance: 4 The Samara band, in search of rumoured abundance of Kunsil plant, move southward from the isthmus. Unfortunately, as the forest moved south, its land became increasingly more marshy. Although the Samara reached their destination, changing lanscaped had fatigued them greatly. Eventually they reach a plains like landscape still marsh but much drier than the marshes. This is where the Kunsil grows noticably abundant but not to the degree rumoured. bandsmen begin to taste the Kunsil and notice it ripe. still they gather the ripe Kunsil and devour it. Many are tired from this suprisingly long journey to this unfamilar area. With access to this new abundant reserve of Kunsil, the Samara peoples will settle down in this region for the time being and begin to harvest and cultivate the plant to eventually domesticate it, and breed it over the generations to grow bigger and yield more grains. They will also continue to hunt and gather and fish and combine their diet between the food obtained from all of these sources. If possible, some tribespeople will clear out areas to grow patches or fields of kunsil.

Hmm, this does not seem to be going well, how about my people begin searching, in small groups with a Hunter with a spear in each, for some type of berries or plants they can eat
